
George Cook is a National Consulting Engineer for Apple's U.S. Education division. In this capacity he consults with educational institutions developing creative applications for digital media in their curriculum, research, administration and public relations activities. George brings a wealth of experience with and knowledge of digital media authoring, workflow and delivery, with an emphasis on Internet media delivery. His recent areas of focus at Apple include iTunes U, Podcasting, and live media streaming.
George has been with Apple since 1988 and consulted with customers in corporate, pre-press, advertising, design and television. His work experience also includes IT project management at Cornell University and a stint as M.I.S. Director for a $50 million ad agency. George graduated with honors from Syracuse University's Computer Graphics program in 1984.
